Design of wideband metamaterial absorber using circuit theory for X?band applications

A broadband metamaterial absorber working in the X-band is designed and fabricated by 3D printing this study. This structure capable of nearly absorbing power incoming waves (more than 90%) frequency band starting from 7.1 to 13.8 GHz. based on an infinite array conductive ribbons, thickness just 0.1? for minimum (without considering ground layer). circuit model transmission line theory are used design explain absorption principle proposed structure. Our novel method flexible can be applied other bands. The satisfaction many applications namely communication, electromagnetic shielding, radar satellite. Furthermore, due flexibility substrate, also suitable X-band.
